After graduating summa cum laude and the Valedictorian of his law school class, Mr. Monroe has over thirty years of insurance coverage counseling and litigation. He has represented insurance carriers and insureds in a broad spectrum of coverage matters involving commercial liability policies, commercial and personal umbrella/excess policies, commercial auto policies, commercial property policies, professional liability policies, homeowners’ policies, and personal auto policies. His work includes the analysis of coverage issues, preparation of opinion letters, and the handling of all phases of litigation in coverage suits, including claims for bad faith litigation against insurance carriers. Mr. Monroe practices primarily in Illinois, but he has appeared in coverage matters in state and federal courts in other states.
